We always talk about clash of Bollywood actors at Box office. But this Friday its something different as its a face off between Shuddh Desi Romance against remake of 1970’s cult classic Zanjeer. Its not just the clash of two Bollywood’s movie, its a clash of two sisters Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra at Box office this Friday.

Shuddh Desi Romance is a romantic comedy starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. The movie looks refreshing in many ways, be its star cast , its subject, its presentation or its super cool music. Shuddh desi Romance is a rom- com based on today’s youth takes on love, attraction and commitment. As claimed by the filmmakers Shuddh Desi Romance is youth oriented movie based on their take on love and relationships in present era. Its treatment is different from most contemporary Bollywood love stories.

On the other we have Priyanka Chopra and Ravi Charan Teja in remake of 1970’s cult classic Zanjeer. As suggested from promos Zanjeer is a high octane action drama something which Bollywood fans have witnessed many times and are fed up off. Sanjay dutt will be reprising the role of Sher Khan in the remake which was portrayed by Pran in the original one. Zanjeer as it seems have nothing fresh and refreshing to offer, even though the makers are claiming that its a different take raging of original plot. Zanjeer(original one) is a all time classic and to remake such a brilliant film is not a great idea as per my opinion.

Well still we have a Shuddh Desi Romance vs Zanjeer this Friday and its seems Shuddh Desi Romance have a upper hand mainly because of fresh treatment, youth oriented subject and super hit music. It is yet to be seen how Zanjeer’s remakes works at Box office.

Blog to Bollywood wishes luck to teams of SDR and Zanjeer.

I enjoyed the film more than HAHK, somehow, but then again it’s been a long time. Well, both are not my piece of cake.
