‘Kai Po Che’, ‘Shahid’ and ‘City Lights’ fame actor Rajkummar Rao has stunned us with his intense acting back to back and now we will soon see the actor grooving with hot item girl Malaika Arora Khan.
Rajkummar says he is a good dancer and wants the audience to see his dancing too and the item number in Dolly ki Doli along with Malaika is a good opportunity. “Yes, I am really looking forward to that. Not too many people in the film industry know this. But I love to dance. They think of me as this serious actor who wouldn’t be caught having fun on his feet. But friends know how I freak out when the music blares. Sajid-Wajid have composed a really wicked track. I can’t wait to get into the groove”. said Rajkummar.
Rao was highly praised for Shahid and Citylights which didn’t do quite well at the box office. “Yes, the critics were kind. I take some seriously, some not so seriously. But I know the mistakes that I made in ‘Citylights’. Rajkummar also says he doesn’t want to do serious roles anymore.”I wish to dance, fight and romance like an Bollywood hero and given an opportunity, he would love to shake a leg in movies”. He added that he is keen to play an action and die-hard romantic hero.
The actor also played a supporting role in the blockbuster Queen starring Kangana Ranaut and he says no to supporting roles from now on. “Queen and now Dolly Ki Doli would be the last of my supporting roles. I am consciously trying not to do smaller parts. I will only do leading roles now. But if someone offers me ‘Satya’, I’d agree to play Bhiku Mhatre instead of the title role. Fortunately, no one is offering me supporting roles.”
It will be really interesting to see the gorgeous Malaika Arora Khan and handsome Rajkummar Rao grooving to a quirky-small town wedding item song in Arbaaz Khan’s production Dolly Ki Doli. Sonam Kapoor will play the lead heroine in the movie.
Malaika will be donning aviators and bright orange ghagra-choli for the item number composed by Sajid-Wajid. The pics from the sets have gone viral and the audience awaits Malaika after Munni Badnaam Hui and Anarkali Disco Chali.
