Since the trailer has been out, Finding Fanny is creating quite a buzz everywhere. First it was about the fresh pairing of Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor and then it was about the odd multicast. Adding to that buzz, the quirky songs Fanny Re and Shake Your Bootiya have already hit the chart buster list. The film is awaited eagerly by the fans.

Finding Fanny’s lead actors Deepika and Arjun held a special screening for friends recently in Mumbai. Nasserrudin Shah and Pankaj Kapur couldn’t make it to the event, therefore Deepika, Arjun, Dimple Kapadia and director Homi Adjania welcomed the guests with open arms. Greek God Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar made it to the screening and posed with the star cast of Finding Fanny.

Deepika Padukone is very excited with the response she has been receiving for Finding Fanny, especially the song Shake Your Bootiya. She says, “I think it’s largely been, oh it’s looking very fun, and it’s looking very quirky, it’s looking very different. I think these are largely the kind of reactions that are coming and I think what we didn’t expect was the kind of reaction we have got to shake your bootiya. We thought Fanny Re was the song that everyone will enjoy, but I think Shake Your Bootiya is the song that people are really enjoying.”

Arjun too shared his excitement to the media, “Honestly the reactions have been really nice. It’s been overwhelming to know that the people are reacting so positively to a film like Fanny. We always knew, that’s why we decided to be a part of doing something unique in that sense. So, the kind of feedback I have got shows that the audience is ready, so the feedback has been very encouraging, so the fingers are crossed for 12th of September.”

Finding Fanny is story of five odd friends who go on a journey to find their mysterious friend Fernandes, lovingly called Fanny. Directed by Homi Adjani, Finding Fanny will release on 12th September.
