Hrithik Roshan is teaming up with Karan Johar and Karan Malhotra for a large scale love story titled Shuddhi(which means purification)
Hrithik who is currently shooting for Krissh 3 and has signed Siddharth Anand’s Knight & Day remake and Shekhar Kapur’s Paani, will start off with Karan Johar’s film later this year.
The film will bring back the successful trio of Karan Johar, Hrithik and Karan Malhotra whose last release Agneepath was a blockbuster. The film has been written by Karan Malhotra and his wife Ekta. As confirmed by Karan, Shuddhi will have three main characters, the female lead and the villain are yet to be finalized.
Tweeting the confirmation of the film producer Karan Johar posted, “Team Agneepath is back…@KaranMalhotra21 will direct his next with @iHrithik in a 2014 diwali release titled SHUDDHI(purification)”.
As for the film itself, Shuddhi is a large scale love story , and will have most of the parts shot in Mumbai and Uttarakhand. Karan Johar is eyeing for next year Diwali release.
