Housefull 3 Music Review and Soundtrack- Not as good as the prequels

The third installment of Housefull is here to make you roll on the floor laughing. The soundtracks of the prequels were quite good and gave us super-hits like Oh Girl You’re Mine, Right Now. Hence, our expectations from the soundtrack of Housefull 3 were quite high. But surprisingly, the album has just four tracks. Read our Housefull 3 Music Review here-

1. Pyar Ki

Pyar Ki Maa Ki is sung by Shaarib and Toshi, who have also given the music of the song. Other singers who have given their voices to the song are Nakkash Aziz, Divya Kumar, Anmol Malik and Earl Edgar. The lyrics have been penned by Manoj Yadav, Farhad-Sajid and Danish Sabri. The ba ba black sheep part is really good, an impressive witty number.

2. Taang Uthake

Taang Uthake song is sung by a number of singers including Sohail Sen, Mika Singh, Neeti Mohan, Mamta Sharma and Hrishikesh Chury. The music of the song has been composed by Sohail Sen and the lyrics have been penned down by Sameer Sen, Sajid-Farhad, Mamta Sharma and Sanjeev Chaturvedi. A typical party song encouraging you to celebrate, nothing new to offer.

3. Malamaal
Malamaal is in the voice of Mika Singh, Akira, Miss Pooja and Kuwar Virk. The music is given by Mika Singh and Millind Gaba with lyrics by Rani Malik and Farhad-Sajid. This song is full of Punjabi Tadka though it would have been better if it was a little fast.

4. Fake Ishq
Get into Qawwali mood along with Kailash Kher, Nakaash Aziz and Altamash Faridi. The music of the song is given by Tanishk Bagchi. The funny lyrics are penned by Farhad-Sajid and Arafat Mehmood. The song is just a perfect Qawwali with the perfect set of singers and the perfect music to back it up.

Housefull 3 Music Review – Final Verdict and Rating: The Housefull 3 soundtrack is a short one. While this is good news for the audiences, as this promises more time with the comedy, I’m not so happy with the songs. They are just average numbers, could have been better. Our pick of the lot are Taang Uthake and Fake Ishq.

Our Rating: 2.5 Stars
