Hero 1st Monday Collection: ‘Hero’ registered a big drop on its first Monday on Box Office.

As expected Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty starer ‘Hero’ fall flat on its first Monday at the Box Office. The movie registered a drop of around 60% as compared to collection on the first day. The biggest issue with he movie is that it has been thrashed by the critics and WOM from audience isn’t to good either. Moreover, Hero is still facing a competition from ‘Welcome Back‘ which is going strong in single screens dominated states.With 3.03 crores on its first Monday, ‘Hero’ now stands at a total collection of 24.13 crores.

The movie got a superb opening because of Salman Khan’s backing, over the top promotion and chartbuster music. Big drop on Monday is an indication that the movie hasn’t been liked by the audience.
Considering the current pace, it is expected hat the movie will further drop on weekdays. ‘Hero‘ should wrap up with the lifetime collection of 30 crores. Made on a constraint budget of 25 crores, the movie will recover its budget.
