Hero 3rd day Collection | First Weekend Box Office Report

Hero 3rd day Collection: Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty starer collected 7.5 crores on first Sunday.

After registering a good start with opening day collection of 6.85 crores, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty debut movie ‘Hero‘ is falling apart at Box Office. The movie witness a drop in collections on Saturday while on Sunday the collection remains same as Friday.
As per early reports coming up, ‘Hero‘ collected around 7.5 crores on its third day. The movie now stands at a total collection of 21 crores at the end of first week. Hero first weekend collection is higher than Ek Paheli Leela, Bombay Velvet, NH10 and Hamari Adhuri Kahani but lower than Badlapur, Roy, Piku and Tevar.

Hero 1st day Collection: 6.85 crores
Hero 2nd day Collection: 6.62 crores
Hero 3rd day Collection: 7.63 crores

The movie got a superb opening because of Salman Khan’s backing, over the top promotion and chartbuster music. ‘Hero‘ failed to capitalize on good start as the reviews has been good. The movie is also affected by last week release‘Welcome Back‘ which is still going strong at Box Office.

The real test for ‘Hero‘ will start from Monday. It would be difficult for the movie to sustain at Box Office considering the first weekend trend. Generally, after a good start movies show decent growth on weekend. Limited growth on weekend is a sign that ‘Hero’ hasn’t been accepted by the audience. Tough times for ‘Hero’ ahead as ‘Katti Batti‘ will take over everything from next week.
