1. MSG: Messenger Of God

Worst Bollywood Movies of 2015 : MSG

First of all, MSG is not a movie! It is a long never-ending commercial of Dera Sachcha Sauda. The hero is Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji and he is the baap of all the superheroes in the world. He has great powers like generating electricity from the tip of his finger, killing terrorists by playing a mouth organ, he can even hypnotize them and make them his followers! Rajnikanth move over, give way to your successor!

2. Kuch Kuch Locha Hai

Devang Dholakia meant to make an adult comedy, but Kuch Kuch Locha Hai turned out to be a lecher fest. Ram Kapoor is playing a lecherous married man obsessed with a Bollywood star Shanaya (Sunny Leone). The rest of the movie is all about Sunny and her body. Just another sleazy film!

3. Hawaizaada

Worst Bollywood Movies of 2015: Hawaizaada

Set in pre-independence era, Hawaizaada is based on the life of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who is credited to have constructed India’s first unmanned plane. It is the tale of the hardships that he went through on the journey to discover, but the film failed to deliver. The totally irrelevant romantic subplot and the excessive melodrama totally ruined the movie. Even Ayushmann Khurrana and Mithun Chakraborty could not save it.

4. Roy
Worst Bollywood movies of 2015 - RoyRoy is a thriller movie but when you actually see it, there is not an iota of thrill in the storyline. The trailer was good, but the movie is a disaster. A pathetic attempt by the debut director Vikramjit Singh. The only thing you can enjoy is  nothing but staring at Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Ranbir Kapoor. The only saving grace of the movie was it’s music and peppy songs!

5. I Love NY

Worst Bollywood Movies of 2015 | 12 Most Disappointing Movies Of The Year

I Love NY was shot in 2011 but released this year itself. Sunny Deol tried to do a romantic-comedy flick but could not get away with it. There was no chemistry at all between him and Kangana Ranaut and the age difference didn’t help them either. It is a ridiculous story, shoddily shot, terribly dubbed, terrible screenplay and very unfunny jokes.

6. Bombay Velvet

Worst Bollywood Movies of 2015 | 12 Most Disappointing Movies Of The Year

Bombay Velvet, based on historian Gyan Prakash‘s book Mumbai Fablestries to be a lot of things in a very short span of time. It was much hyped about with a budget of around 100 crores but there are many subplots which do not add anything to the story and left open. The movie totally fails at scripting level, it would have been way better if it was written with more heart.

7. Mr. X

Worst Bollywood Movies of 2015 | 13 Most Disappointing Movies Of The YearThe film is about an honest policeman who turned into an Invisible man after some accident and now fighting against crime. There’s no logic in the film at all, it tries to remind us of the classic Mr. India, but the shoddy VFX, a lazy script, and unintentional funny scenes are too much to handle. Even Emraan Hashmi‘s performance was a big let-down.

8. Bangistan

Worst Bollywood Movies of 2015 | 12 Most Disappointing Movies Of The Year

Bangistan had its heart in the right place with an extremely novel story. But sadly, the execution is poor and the pace very slow. The movie’s plot revolves around two characters who are very religious and are manipulated by their religious leaders to commit an act of terrorism. The way this is done makes absolutely no sense and is done purely for comic reasons. Only if the direction was better.

9. Katti Batti

Worst Bollywood Movies of 2015 | 12 Most Disappointing Movies Of The Year

Katti Batti was supposed to be a romantic comedy but it turned out to be a confused movie. Neither is the story original nor is it fresh. It’s a tried and tested love story loosely inspired from 500 Days Of Summer, Sweet November and Chasing Amy. Katti Batti lacked the depth of an intense love story and also lacks entertaining moments. Imran Khan‘s performance was also a let-down.

10. Shaandaar
Most Disappointing Bollywood Movies of 2015 : 13 Worst Movies of the year - Shaandaar The much hyped Alia BhattShahid Kapoor starrer Shaandaar proves that Bollywood has just run out of ideas. The film is basically a fairy-tale romance with too much of unnecessary animation all over the place. Only the location and the clothing were Shaandaar, nothing else. It was touted to be the first wedding destination movie of India, but the result was only confusion!

11. Tevar

Worst Bollywood Movies of 2015 – Tevar

Tevar is the remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Okkadu’ but it’s Ishaqzaade all over again, without Parineeti Chopra. Performances are mediocre except for Manoj Bajpayee. Just another a typical masala Hindi film with a routine plot, an over the top climax and many unwanted songs.

12. Calendar Girls
Worst Bollywood Movies of 2015 - Calendar Girls Calendar Girls seem to the outtake of Madhur Bhandarkar‘s previous films- Page 3, Fashion and Heroine. It’s about five girls who come to Mumbai to fulfill their dreams, encounter evil men and finally emerge from their experiences stronger. But the five actresses portraying them are perhaps the worst we have seen this whole year. Another bad movie!

  1. It surely means you liked Alone over Tevar, PRDP over Bombay Velvet and you loved Khamoshiyaan. Was it Ab Tak Chappan 2 or Dirty Politics which amused you more than Shandaar and Roy? Also, it seems like you were equally fascinated with Hero’s Sooraj Pancholi.

Moreover, I am sure your favorite movie of the year was ‘Mere Ginie Uncle 3D’..

I mean… Crap! Utter under researched article I have seen in years over internet.

Bombay Velvet in worst movies of the year??? Go, get some life ..
