Hasee Toh Phasee Music Review : A must hear romantic album

Hasee Toh Phasee music review was like walking in a jungle of funky songs. Yes, Hasee toh Phasee is an adorable album with few good tracks to play more than once.

The tunes of Zehnaseeb will make you sing along, repeat and becomes an addiction if you dare to carry it in your mp3 players. Everything else which is offered by the album becomes less visible because of Zehnaseeb’s excellent tunes.

Let’s go through the entire music album and see how individually each track appears.

• Punjabi Wedding Song [audiotube id=”YhSqbQh31po” size=”large”]

  A Wedding Song blended in 2014’s tunes ? There is melo drama, remixes, happiness and fun in ‘Punjabi Wedding Song’. Sunidhi Chauhan is perfect to voice this song. I must say, this is really bold to open a soundtrack on wedding song, but Hasee Toh Phasee does it and does it well.

• Shake it Like Shammi [audiotube id=”h6a5QVNMi24″ size=”large”] 

  The Second track from Hasee Toh Phasee is sung by Vishal Dhalani and Benny Dayal. The hip party jazz music on alternatively fused lyrics that makes less sense comes out nice. I must say this is the most unique song I have heard in a while. A tribute to Shammi Kapoor indeed :). Must hear.

• Drama Queen [audiotube id=”23QITnh6NUI” size=”large”]

  Drama Queen has nice lyrics and everything about this song is crazy and good. You will love the song’s ambience and Vishal’s singing is really very strong in this song. At times Shreya Ghoshal was subdued by Vishal’s presence in this song. Drama Queen is good ‘drama’ song.

• Manchala

  After 3 funk songs, a slow romantic soulcry song brings us back to reality. Manchala sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali and Nupur Pant starts with an excellent beginning. However, Nupur does appear weak when the vocals pass to her. Making the song slightly less than what it was capable of. Still a delight for ears.

• Zehnaseeb [audiotube id=”9WlczCe16Ao” size=”large”]

  Zehnaseeb is a gem in Hasee Toh Phasee album. So far we experienced above average songs but Zehnaseeb is the perfect takeaway served beautifully. Zehnaseeb is as beautiful as its lyrics. Excellent lyrics supported by soulful singing brings out the best of the song. Must hear with repeat on.

• Ishq Bulava [audiotube id=”uHKZr_ui0g4″ size=”large”]

  Nice tunes ruined by not so good lyrics pretty much summarises the song. This can be skipped esply because you just heard a class song minutes before. There was not a single point in the entire song’s timeline when it connects well.

Hasee Toh Phasee Music Review : Overall Impression

So Hasee Toh Phasee is something, but not so good to satisfy. Hasee Toh Phasee Soundtrack gives us some light hearted funk music and an excellent romantic number in the form of Zehnaseeb
