Varun advises that it is very important to engage in any type of sport. He likes swimming in order to tone muscles. His workout plan is a mix of several forms of exercise. His trainer has incorporated martial arts, freestyle exercise, weight lifting, and heavy-duty cardio so that Varun gets the right stimulation for his body.

This handsome hunk eats everything right from pizzas and chocolates but when he is on a controlled diet, this is what he follows: morning 3 egg whites and juice; for lunch chicken, Bajre ki roti and dal; evening something like a salmon sandwich with brown bread and night salad and black coffee. He says that black coffee is a hunger depressant. He takes protein shakes while working out and supplements like BCAAs do break a fast.

John Abraham is the most sought after actor when it comes to bodybuilding. He has some excellent tips for the gym-goers. He says if you are able to lift your body weight effortlessly then you are fit. He advises on doing pull-ups where you lift your entire body weight and exercise. According to him cardio and strength training both are important. He also advises on running.

He says a lot of young guys focus on their arms but instead of arms do legs because doing your legs boosts testosterone. Lunges, squats, step-ups are important as they work on your thighs and glutes. For abs, he advises crunches every day and as beginners, you can start with lifting legs in the crunch position.

He says that 60% depends on the diet and 40% on the workout. He consumes a lot of high protein and carbs intake. Along with that, he has taken multi-vitamin tablets and protein supplements. No Steroids. He avoids sugar as much as he can and has it in the form of dates and honey.

Ranveer revealed during Ram Leela that he really enjoyed going to the gym. His trainer Louis Jay made him work around dips, thrusters, pushups, pull-ups as well as burpees. He used to have 45 mins weight training and 20 mins cardio morning and evening. He said he really liked looking at himself in the mirror and doing all the high-intensity workout but the actual task was following a particular diet. He says exercising is fun but having a diet to follow gets really taxing. But it is also very important as only exercising will not give you the desired results.

He was on a blood group diet where certain foods are not advisable for your blood group. He used to have protein shakes to help muscle building. Clean proteins, fish, turkey, sweet potatoes for carbs, lean meats, eggs is what he used to have. He advises eating at regular intervals. He tells treat your body like a temple because health truly is wealth.

Hrithik is a fitness freak. Under the guidance of his trainer Kris Gethin, Hrithik has understood the dos and dont’s of fitness.  For Krrish 3 and Bang Bang his workouts were emphasized on cross-fit, cardio work, and weight training. A myriad of exercises such as lunges, single-legged squats, and smith machine squats was done to relax his joints. The actor says that after an intense workout it is only when your body is at rest that it will grow and bulk up. Rest is important.

Hrithik says that there is no need to starve yourself. Eat what you like and eat every 3 hours to boost metabolism. Hrithik’s diet plan included meat along with some healthy sources of carbohydrates such as a cup of pasta or rice, spinach, broccoli, and sprouts. After sticking to this routine for 2-3 weeks, he switched to a normal diet plan having foods such as meatballs, pancakes, fish, egg whites, slices of toast together with some supplements like glutamine, multivitamins, omega 3 and protein shakes. These are the optimal health supplements that the body requires.

Akshay believes in a natural way of staying fit. He wakes up at 4 in the morning and never has any late nights. In the summers he prefers swimming. During winters he goes to a small gym where he exercises for not more than 45 mins to an hour and about 5-6 days a week. He says that much amount of time is sufficient as you are not entering any Olympics or something. Akshay stresses on the need to exercise every single day.

He says that a lot of youngsters are looking for shortcuts to 6 or 8 pack abs. He says that abs take a lot of time and by taking steroids and supplements to fasten the process you are only doing harm to your body. He says steroids can have many side effects on your health in the long run and just for a few days of looking good now you can’t compromise on your future. He does not believe in protein shakes.

He tells you can eat whatever you want but no eating after 7 p.m. Akshay’s last meal of the day is by 6.30-7 p.m. and suggests that your body needs rest at night.

He won every girl’s heart with his debut in Student of the Year. Sidharth had great intense workout sessions for his movies like Ek Villain and Brothers. Here are some tips from the hottie himself! The actor says that you should incorporate fitness into your lifestyle. He stressed on the importance of warm-up before any exercise. Sidharth said, “When I began working out at the age of 18, my gym was dominated by power-lifters who concentrated on single movements like squats, deadlifts with a lot of heavyweights. But that only makes you stiffer and heavier.” His workout now emphasizes on push-ups, pull-ups and running.

Besides that, he eats numerous fruits and vegetables in his daily diet regime. Instead of having fruit juice, he prefers eating fresh fruits, as juices make your body devoid of the benefits of fiber. “In my early 20s, I discovered the blood type diet. I’m O+, so I’m supposed to avoid dairy and wheat, and embrace a high protein diet.” And all those who can’t stop drooling over his pic..go, get up and work on your body now!
