The movie started its box office journey with a bang. While the trade experts were expecting it to earn 4 to 5 crores, Fukrey Returns earned 8.1 crores on the first day. On Saturday, the movie witnessed big growth of 35% to earn 11.3 crores. On the last day of the weekend, the grows further. As per early reports coming, Fukrey Returns third day collection is around 13 crores.
On Saturday, Fukrey Returns recorded huge numbers in the morning and noon shows. The overall occupancy in the morning shows was around 30% to 35% higher than Friday. The movie is running like riot in Delhi, NCR and Punjab circuits. The local Delhi flavour is working charm in these circuits. With this, the first weekend collection of Fukrey Returns stands at 32.4 crores.
The Movie Has Performed Better Than Our Expectations
Made on a budget of 30 crores, the movie has created havoc at the box office. There is no denying that the movie had exceeded all expectations. While most of the trade experts were expecting the movie to earn 15 to 17 crores, the movie has earned 32+ crores in the first weekend.

Bollywood was going through a dull phase since the release of Golmaal Again (Diwali 2017). All movies released in last 6 to 8 weeks have not performed well. With Fukrey Returns performing well, Bollywood takes a sigh of relief. With no big release on next Friday, we can expect Fukrey Returns to make it big at the box office. Fukrey Returns can make big money till the release of Tiger Zinda Hai on 22 Dec 2017. If the movie continues to perform like this then there is an outside chance of an entry to the 100 crore club.
