1 Feb 2013 will see as many as five releases, DAVID, MAI, DEEWANA MAI DEEWANA, MIDNIGHT’S CHILDREN and VISHVASWAROOP (Hindi version of Tamil film ‘VISHVASWAROOPAM’).
“DAVID” is the best bet of the week, directed by Bejoy Nambiar, who showed his brilliance in Shaitan. The film deals with three eras and three characters (played by Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vikram and Vinay Virmani) all named David.
Then, we have, DEEWANA MAIN DEEWANA starring Govinda and Priyanka Chopra, the film was in bags for the last four years and is now finally releasing without any promotion.
The Hindi version of Kamal Haasan’s much in news VISHWAROOP, VISHVASWAROOP will also hits theaters nationwide tomorrow. VISHVASWAROOP has got 9.6 as IMDB rating, something which Indian Cinema should pride of.
Deepa Mehta’s ambitious flick, MIDNIGHT’S CHILDREN , written by Salman Rushdie stars Soha Ali Khan, Satya Bhabha, Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher.
Last but not the least Asha Bhosle’s debuts as actor in “MAI” which seems a sensitive watch from the promos.
So, Bollywood plate is full this week, , go ahead and pick your choice..
I enjoyed the film more than HAHK, somehow, but then again it’s been a long time. Well, both are not my piece of cake.
