Fitoor First Day Box Office Collection and Occupancy Report

Released on 1224 screens across the country, the movie performed best in high-end multiplexes and metros like Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. The single screens, small cities, and mass centers remained low throughout the day. Fitoor was seriously affected by the two other releases of the day, Deadpool and Sanam Re. Sanam Re had better of Fitoor in mass centers and small cities while Hollywood movie Deadpool remains the first choice for in metros and high-end multiplexes.

Fitoor has received mixed reviews from the critics while the WOM from the general audience has been poor. After an average opening day, it would be interesting to see how the movie performs on Saturday and Sunday. The budget is around 55 crores and it looks like that the movie will struggle in the coming days. The movie will find it difficult to recover its budget as the budget is high and there is no hope in mass centers and small cities.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor and starring Katrina, Aditya, and Tabu, Fitoor is an adaptation of Charles Dicken’s ‘Great Expectations’.
