Akshay Kumar’s latest courtroom drama had an excellent first week at the domestic Box Office. After an average start on Friday with the collection of 13.2 crores, the movie saw huge growth on Saturday and Sunday and managed to cross 50 crores mark in three days. With the collection of 19.95 crores on its third day, the movie takes its first weekend collections to 50.46 crores.

With the collection of 50.46 crores in 3 days, Jolly LLB 2 becomes fourth highest opening weekend grosser for Akshay Kumar. It has beaten the opening weekend collection of Airlift (44.3 crores) and Rustom (50.42 crores). However, it failed to beat Brothers (52.08 crores) and Singh Is Bliing (54.44 crores).
Jolly LLB 2 has received positive reviews from critics. The WOM from the audience is also on a positive side. The movie is expected to remain strong and cross the 100 crores mark by the end of the second weekend. It may emerge as Akshay Kumar’s top grosser by beating the lifetime collection of Rowdy Rathore (134 crores).
