Emraan Hashmi, Gaurav Arora and debutante Kriti Kharbanda starrer horror thriller Raaz Reboot had a poor opening week at the domestic Box Office. Being the fourth instalment of successful horror franchise Raaz, the expectations were good, but the fate was sealed in the first weekend when the movie failed to witness any growth over the opening weekend.
Due to poor reviews from critics and mixed WOM from the audience, Raaz Reboot failed to create any impact at the Box Office. After a below average opening weekend with the collection of 18.09 crores, the movie crashed on Monday witnessing a drop of around 60%. The movie needs to cross the 40 crores mark to break even and 50 crores to be called a hit at the Box Office.
The performance of Raaz Reboot is way below expectations, considering that the last film of the same franchise, Raaz 3 earned 34 crores in the first weekend. Considering the current trend it seems difficult for the movie to even cross 30 crores at the Box Office. It is almost certain that Raaz Reboot will make it to the long list of Emraan Hashmi’s flop movies. The actor needs to come up with something special as his last eight movies flopped at the Box Office.
