Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet is no doubt one of the most anticipated releases of this year. The movie has been news for a long time primitively because of delay in its release. The movie is also kept under wraps and there are no clues on the plot and other details. Finally, the makers of the movie have released the first look from the movie.

Anushka Sharma who is playing a female lead as well as Ranbir’s love interest in the movie took to twitter to reveal Ranbir Kapoor’s look in the movie. Anushka is playing Jazz dancer in the movie. Ranbir Kapoor is playing a street fighter in the movie and going by the first look and the caliber of Anurag and Ranbir we can easily say that Johnny Balraj will be one of the best characters of this year. I am eagerly waiting to see Ranbir and Anushka onscreen together.
Staring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Raveena Tandon, Kay Kay Menon and Remo Fernandes is reportedly based on historian Gyan Prakash’s book Mumbai Fables. The movie is slated for release on 15 May 2015.
