Bad news for Fawad Khan fans. The Pakistani hunk, who was supposed to be the opening guest of Karan Johar’s upcoming season of ‘Koffee With Karan’, has been replaced by Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt.
Fawad who became close to Karan after acting in his production ‘Kapoor and Sons’ this year, was offered a cameo in Johar’s directorial next ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and was given screen space even in the promos and songs of the movie. However, after the recent threats Karan received from the MNS for casting Fawad in his movie, Kjo decided to not take risks by opting for Shah Rukh-Alia as his opening guests for his chat show. One of the leaders of MNS said to the media yesterday, “We dare Karan. Let him take a Pakistani artist, see what we will do then.”
However, a certain source insists that it’s because Fawad has to be with his wifey dearest, who is due to be delivering a baby soon that Fawad won’t be able to make it to the show.
Shah Rukh-Alia Bhatt will come to the chat show to promote their upcoming movie Dear Zindagi which will be produced by Karan Johar, Gauri Khan and R Balki. Directed by Gauri Shinde, the movie will be released on 25 November 2016.
