The seventh installment of Fast and Furious series was released in India yesterday and to no surprise the movie has registered record-breaking opening. The expectations were high and the movie certainly lived up to the expectations.

Let’s see what the top critics of the country has to say on Fast and Furious 7.

1) Fast and Furious 7 Movie Review by Gavin Rasquinha from TOI: Amazing stunts aside, James Wan (Insidious 2, The Conjuring) probably faced two big challenges when making this film. The first, crafting a movie that glorifies insanely reckless driving while also being sensitive to the fact that one of the leads (in a sad irony) died in a reckless sports car crash. Secondly, making a seamless film given the fact that Paul Walker – a name synonymous with this series – is no more. In both cases, he hits the sweet spot.

Rating : 4.5 stars

2) Fast and Furious 7 Movie Review by Jyoti Sharma from HT: There are good films, bad films and some plain ridiculous ones. And then there is a critic-proof phenomena like Fast and Furious franchise which fuses all of the above and comes up with a brand all its own. This one is a blockbuster with smack-you-in-your-face set pieces, death-defying stunts, muscle cars, family-first ethos, ridiculous one-liners which get all the taalis and an apology of a plot.

3) Fast and Furious 7 Movie Review by Rishabh Chakravorty fron India.com: Fast and Furious 7 ends with Dominic taking the straight road, as Brian’s car takes another route. The excellent symbolism and the subtle yet heartfelt tribute to Paul Walker will remain till the end of time. We give Fast and Furious 7 a rating of 4 stars out of 5, and hope that Vin Diesel’s dream of another movie (Fast and Furious 8) set in New York realises soon!

4)Fast and Furious 7 Movie Review by Indian Express: Fast-moving fight scenes, outrageous auto antics and a sprinkling of ridiculous one-liners make “Furious 7″ a campy, crowd-pleasing escape.Never mind that the film repeatedly presents the impossible — a muscle car attacks an airborne helicopter — fans of the franchise know to suspend disbelief at the door. With non stop action from start to finish, it’s easy — if a bit exhausting — to go along for the high-speed ride.

5) Fast and Furious 7 Movie Review by Akshay Kaushal from IBNLive : Touching tribute to Paul Walker. The continuous chasing and fighting in the end becomes a little too much for us to handle. There are few elements of laughter in Furious 7.

Overall, Furious 7 is a heart beating experience. Nothing to say more, just go and watch. Pay tribute to Paul Walker.
