One of the hottest couples of B-Town- Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor have officially broken up.
Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor have been dating for the past four to five years and had become one of the most loved couple of Bollywood. They even started living together, firing up rumors of them getting married soon. But sadly, they have ended their relationship on a sad note. This break up was quite a big shock for us all.
Even though Katrina and Ranbir have opted to stay mum about the break-up, there have been many speculations about the reason behind the break-up. Some claim that Ranbir’s growing proximity with ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone was considered to be the major reason behind the break-up. Katrina has expressed her dislike about the two working together at many occasions earlier.
However, the actual reason behind the break-up is entirely different. Many rumors claim that the Kapoor family led to the break-up. According to a report of IndiaTV, Ranbir’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were completely against the relationship. When Neetu skipped Shashi Kapoor’s Christmas lunch and Ranbir-Katrina attended the lunch together, it triggered the rumors even more.
People close to the couple believe that the break-up is not a surprise for them. They knew the two had it coming sooner or later. IndiaTV’s source said,
“How long can you avert a breakup when two people are just not getting along. There is also staunch opposition from Ranbir’s family. It wasn’t a good sign when Neetu Kapoor bunked the annual Christmas lunch. She has never missed that family gathering. With both his parents against the alliance, it just doesn’t seem worth dragging it on anymore.”
Ranbir Kapoor has already moved out of their apartment while Katrina Kaif is staying all alone there. Ranbir will now be living with his parents. She seems to have moved on with her life as she recently attended a party presumably thrown by her former boyfriend and mentor Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera.
