Ek Paheli Leela 3rd Day Collection: Ek Paheli Leela remains stable at Box Office, collected 5.35 crores on first Sunday.
Ek Paheli Leela starts off well at domestic Box Office. We have predicted that the movie would collect 5 to 6 crores on its opening day. We are bang on target once again with our Box Office predictions. The movie collected 5.3 crores on its opening day. Thanks to the huge fan following of Sunny Leone, the movie has opened better than other releases of the year like NH10, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy etc.
However, Ek Paheli Leela dropped marginally on Saturday. After a good Friday, we were expecting big weekend from the movie but its seems that audience have some other plans. Ek Paheli Leela collected 5.2 crores on Saturday. On Sunday, the movie shown some growth with the collection of 5.35 crores. The movie now stands at a total collection of 15.85 crores. It seems that IPL has already started affecting the business of evening and late-night shows. This is a buzzing alarm as we have some big movies like Mr. X, Gabbar is Back to be released during the tournament.
The expectations from Ek Tha Leela were low, but the movie has exceeded the expectations. Though, the response and reviews from the critics are mixed, moviegoers are loving it. The WOM from the public has also been good. Sunny Leone is the only selling point of the movie and the actress has certainly raised the bar by her oomph factor.
Ek Paheli Leela Day-Wise Bx Office Collection
Ek Paheli Leela 1st Day Collection: 5.3 Crores
Ek Paheli Leela 2nd Day Collection: 5.2 Crores
Ek Paheli Leela 3rd Day Collection: 5.35 Crores
Ek Paheli Leela First Weekend Collection: 15.85 Crores
Ek Paheli Leela Lifetime collection: 15.85 Crores (Till third day)
Ek Paheli Leela was released on around 1700 screens across the country. The movie remains low in multiplexes throughout the weekend with an average occupancy of around 15%. However, the single screens and mass centers were strong with occupancy as high as 40%.
With a decent opening weekend of 15.85 crores, the movie is certainly the biggest surprise of the year at Box Office.
Ek Paheli Leela is made on a budget of 25 crores (Including Printing and Advertisement cost). The movie should recover its budget within the first week itself and it would be interesting to see if it would become the first super hit of 2015 which Bollywood is desperately looking for. As per my prediction, the movie will be the first big hit of 2015 with the lifetime collection of around 45 crores.
Stay tuned for more Box Office updates.
