How educated are the Bollywood Celebs?

Bollywood Celebs have always dazzled us with their looks, acting, controversies, style statements etc. But have you ever wondered how educated are they? Read on!

1.) Amitabh Bachchan: The charismatic Shahanshah of Bollywood is one of the highly educated actors. He is a graduate from Sherwood College, Nainital and then went to Delhi’s Kirori Mal College for doing a double major in Science and Arts. Not just that, the powerhouse of talent has been awarded honorary doctorate degrees from Queensland University in Australia.

2.) Salman Khan: The Being Human Founder, went to Scindia School in Gwalior for some years before joining Mumbai’s St. Stanislaus High School. He went to National College, Bandra but never completed it.

3.) Shah Rukh Khan: King Khan graduated in Economics from Delhi University’s Hansraj College and went on to do Master in Mass Communication from Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi, which he didn’t complete.

4.) Aamir Khan: Mr Perfectionist was an average student in school. He went to Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai, but never attended classes as he was always hooked up to dramatics.

5.) John Abraham: The dashing completed his schooling from Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai and went on to do his graduation in economics from Jai Hind College. He also holds a Management Degree from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. Before making it big in Bollywood, he was a professional media planner.

6.) Ranbir Kapoor: The chocolate boy, went to Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. For his graduation, he went to Mumbai’s HR College, which he quit after 2 years to pursue film-making and method acting at the School of Visual Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, respectively.

7.) Hrithik Roshan: Before taking up acting, The Greek God of Bollywood went to Bombay Scottish School. Post school, he went to Sydenham College, where he studied commerce.

8.) Preity Zinta: The dimpled girl did her Bachelors in English Honours from St. Bede’s College in Shimla. Also, she is a graduate in psychology and post-graduate in criminal psychology.

9.) Soha Ali Khan: The adorable younger sister of Saif Ali Khan, did her schooling from Delhi’s The British School and then went to Oxford to study geography. She also holds a degree in International Relations from London School of Economics and Political science.

10.) Kareena Kapoor: Choti Begum attended Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai before progressing to Welham Girls Boarding School in Dehradun. Upon graduating from the boarding school, she studied commerce for two years at Mithibai College in Vile Parle, Mumbai. After a short computer course at Harvard, USA, she enrolled at the Government Law College in Churchgate and left it after one year to pursue acting.

11.) Bipasha Basu: After school, Bong Bombshell moved to the commerce stream. She studied at Bhawanipur Education Society College in preparation for the 12th standard board exams which she never attempted because of modeling.

12.) Aishwarya Rai: Aishwarya studied at Arya Vidya Mandir High School in Mumbai, and then went to Jai Hind College for a year. She switched to Raheja College to study Architecture but left it midway to pursue a career in modeling.

13.) Kangana Ranaut: Ranaut did her schooling in Dehradun. After a few months of college, she moved to Delhi to become a model.

14.) Priyanka Chopra: Completed primary education at La Martiniere Girls’ School in Lucknow and then moved to USA for mid-school. She then returned to India to complete high school at Army School in Bareilly. Later she studied college in Jai Hind, Mumbai.

15.) Anushka Sharma: She studied in Army School and graduated with a specialization in arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.

16.) Katrina Kaif: Born in Hong Kong, Kaif was always relocating with her single-mother and siblings to different places like Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Belgium, and other European countries. She always home-schooled and stopped studies at the age of 16.

17. Alia Bhatt: She has only completed her high school from Jamnabai Narsee School IBDP in May 2011 and then went to USA for acting course.
