Dilwale 4th Day Collection: SRK and Kajol starer Dilwale saw a big drop on its 1st Monday at the domestic Box Office.
It’s troubling times for Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale as the movie is slowly flattening at the domestic Box Office. After a superb opening weekend with the collection of 65 crores, SRK and Kajol starer love saga falls flat on its 1st Monday. As per early estimates, Dilwale 4th day collection will be around 10 crores, thus a drop of around 55% compared to the opening day. Rohit Shetty’s movie is hugely affected by its clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani which is going super strong at the domestic Box office.
Dilwale Box Office Collection
Dilwale 1st Day Collection: 21 crores (3rd highest of 2015)
Dilwale 2nd Day Collection: 20.09 crores
Dilwale 3rd Day Collection: 24 crores
Dilwale 1st weekend collection: 65.09 crores (3rd Highest of 2015)
Dilwale 4th Day Collection: 10.09 crores
With 65.09 crores Dilwale is the third highest opening weekend grosser of 2015 behind Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (101.47 crores) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (102.6 crores).
Dilwale is Shahrukh Khan’s 3rd highest opening weekend grosser after Happy New Year and Chennai Express. The movie is also the highest opening weekend grosser for Varun Dhawan, Kajol, and Kriti Sanon.
Dilwale is hugely affected by the clash with Bajirao Mastani. Bajirao Mastani has taken advantage of the single screens in mass circuits. In multiplexes and metros also, Dilwale is facing stiff competition as Bajirao Mastani is a better-reviewed movie.
Dilwale is way behind expectations when it comes to Box Office numbers. The movie was expected to recover its total budget of 110 crores by its first week which isn’t looking a possibility here. Considering the current performance, we can expect the movie to collect around 95 crores in its first week.
