Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do is finally released today amidst the lot of expectations. As expected the movie start off on a decent note at domestic Box Office. Dil Dhadakne Do is more of a multiplex movie so we can’t expect it to work big at mass centers and single screens.
As per the early reports, the movie starts off on a decent on Friday with occupancy of around 25% to 30% at multiplexes in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune etc. Talking about single screens and mass centers, the occupancy wasn’t as high as metros and multiplexes. With good WOM coming in, the movie should be able to collect around 10 crores on opening day.

Dil Dhadakne Do Economics and Screen Count
The movie is released on around 2400 screens across the country with 70% being allocated to multiplexes and metros. Dil Dhadakne Do is made on a budget of around 80 crores which includes 55 crores of production and 25 crores of promotion and advertising cost. The movie needs to make around 100 crores in order to emerge as a profitable venture for its makers.
