Dhoom 3 Second Weekend Collections : Dhoom 3’s run Continues on Box Office
Dhoom continued to sail over towards 300 Crores at a healthy pace. On this sunday (2nd sunday for Dhoom 3), Dhoom 3 saw a nice occupancy rate and collected around 20 Crores throughout the day.
Dhoom 3 second weekend collections were much better than Krrish 3 Second Weekend Collections. (read Krrish Second Weekend Collections). While Krrish 3 collected around 30 Crores, Dhoom 3 managed to collect 41 Crores and has eclipsed the the record of 33 Crores set by 3 Idiots.
Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiot collected around 56 Crores in its Second Week. Dhoom 3 is set to change that too for Aamir. It is interesting how during year-end Aamir Khan pushed the bar up with Dhoom 3’s performance. I was let down by Abhishek and Uday’s performance but Aamir made sure the movie never focused on them.
Where Jai Ho would take 2014 is yet to be seen, but Aamir made sure Jai Ho has a big wall of records to climb upon before breaking them. Jai Ho is set to release in January 2014.
