One of the most awaited movies of the year, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was released yesterday. As expected, the movie got off to a flying start at the Box Office. The has garnered good reviews from critics and audience. Sushant Singh Rajput has been getting allocates for his terrific performance as MS Dhoni. Dhoni himself is stunned by Sushant’s performance in the film.
“Sushant is exceptional, he has totally imitated me the way I talk, the way I walk, he has copied everything, that’s the beauty of it. When we talk about cricket specifically, he has practiced for 9 months, for two to two and a half hours everyday, infact now he can even participate as a cricketer, in between where there is off season for movies, he can go and play a lot of leagues,” Dhoni said during interaction with media.
As per the reports, it was Dhoni who had recommended Sushant’s name to the makers in the first place.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, Bhumika Chawla and Anupam Kher. The movie got off to a terrific opening, earning 21.3 crores on the first day.
