Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor starer Finding Fanny theatrical Trailer is finally out !
The film is a multicast with Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor in the leads. Directed by Homi Adajania of the ‘Being Cyrus’ and ‘Cocktail’ fame, this movie seems quite different from typical Bollywood affair.
As suggested from the trailer, the plot evolves on how 5 friends (Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Nasseruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapoor) set out on a road trip to Goa to find a friend “Fanny”.

The star cast looks interesting as the casting is fresh. Deepika looks every bit of a Goan girl wearing floral dresses and Cross chain on her neck. Arjun looks like a baddie with rugged look while Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapoor looks like the aged lovers. Naserrudin Shah looks like the one finding answers to life.
The movie will have a cameo done by Deepika’s alleged boyfriend Ranveer Singh. Apparently, he plays her husband in the movie.
It will be interesting to see Arjun-Ranveer duo again after their bromance in ‘Gunday‘ and also not to forget Deepika-Ranveer’s Ram-leela.
The tagline of the movie says, “If you are looking for love, get lost!” which maybe or can be the sentiments of Deepika in the movie.
The trailer shows the dialogues all spoken in English with a Hindi song in the background. However, the movie will release in both Hindi and English for Indian and International audience. The cut of the English version is done by Nick Moore of ‘The Full Monty” (1997) fame.
Homi confirms, “The difference between the two versions is just three-four minutes and not a complete re-edit. This English version will be cut by Nick Moore to cater to that audience. It’s the same story but will be told in a way that the firangs understand better”
The trailer has already created a strong buzz due to the interesting fresh star cast and plot.
The movie presented by Fox Star Studio and produced by Maddock Films Production is all set to release on September 12th, 2014.
