After being the hero of ‘Hero’, Sooraj Pancholi to play a footballer in his next project.
Sooraj Pancholi is being very picky about the kind of movies he signs. After his debut film ‘Hero’, he signed Remo D’Souza‘s action-dance film featuring Ajay Devgn. Now, we hear Sooraj Pancholi to play a footballer in his next project.

According to the buzz going on in B-Town, this movie will be based soccer and it will be directed by debutante Pierre Timmins. According to a source close to him, “The film is about an underdog footballer who carves out his own journey on the soccer field. Sooraj is yet to hear the final narration but is excited about the project and will start shooting for it after he wraps up Remo’s film which will be sometime next year.”
As a matter of fact, Sooraj Pancholi has already begun his preparation for the role, playing football everyday for hours and trying to master it. The same source states that “He has been working with professional coaches and will be going to Goa, which has some great football fields, and spend a month training there. Also, since he has to look really lean he will be losing around 10 kg, which will require him to sweat it out in the gym.”
