Akshay Kumar has once again come in support to fight against coronavirus pandemic. This time the actor has contributed to BMC.
Akshay Kumar is proving once again why he is often called the real-life hero of Bollywood. At the time when the whole world is fighting against coronavirus pandemic, the Khiladi assures that he keeps helping the government in the best possible way.
After contributing Rs 25 crore to PM-CARES, Akshay Kumar now contributes Rs 3 crores to BMC. This money will be used to in making PPEs, masks and rapid testing kits. Trade expert Taran Adarsh shared the news on his Twitter account. He tweeted:

Earlier Akshay Kumar contributed Rs 25 crore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s CARES fund. The fund was announced on 28 March to help the people of India during such distressing times in future.
Akshay Kumar was the first Bollywood celebrity to contribute to PM-CARES. Akshay tweeted, “This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to @narendramodi ji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai.”
Several other Bollywood celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik Aaryan, Guru Randhawa etc. have also contributed to PM-CARES fund.
