Another fresh pairing will soon be seen on the big screen as it is now confirmed that we will see Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
Neeraj Pandey’s much-talked about project Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’s lead actor has been announced long ago and now we finally no that we are going to see Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha opposite each other.
Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar have worked together in hit movies like Special 26, Baby and they will soon start working on two more projects Crack and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. During the promotions for his upcoming film M.S.Dhoni- The Untold Story, Neeraj Pandey talked about Toilet and said “The film is definitely happening and it will have Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar.”
Toilet- Ek Prem Katha will be a satirical comedy, centered on the current scenario of sanitation and hygiene in India, and will be based on PM Narendra Modi’s Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan. The film is said to have a lighthearted treatment against a realistic backdrop. Currently busy with the shooting of Jolly LLB 2, Akshay will start shooting for ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ from November this year. The shooting of the movie will be completed in a single schedule from Nov 2016 to Jan 2016.
After completing ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, Akshay will start shooting for Neeraj Pandey’s psychological thriller titled Crack in March 2017. While Crack is slated for release on Independence Day 2017, we hear that the makers are looking for a mid-2017 release date for ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’.
