Gabbar Is Back First Week Collection: Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar Is Back has a good opening week with collection of 60 Crores.
Akshay Kumar’s latest masala entertainer Gabbar is Back registered a good opening week at domestic Box Office. After getting a good start with opening weekend collection of 39 crores, the movie remains strong on weekdays as well. The film had a strong Monday as well due to partial holiday in some parts of the country. The movie did show some drop on Tuesday and Wednesday which is acceptable as most of the Bollywood movies drop on weekdays.
Gabbar is Back opened to a decent occupancy of around 40% across the country. The movie was particularity strong in mass centers and single screens.The occupancy was superb in mass areas like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. In multiplexes driven areas like Delhi, NCR the movie remains poor with average occupancy of around 25%.

Gabbar is Back is now the highest opening weekend grosser of 2015 as well beating Roy and Baby. The movie is Akshay Kumar’s fourth highest opening weekend grosser after Rowdy Rathode, Housefull 2 and Holiday. Well, the reviews and response has been mixed from the critics as well as audience. The movie seems to be enjoyed by the audience in mass centers but failed to impress the multiplex audience.
The first week has been good for Gabbar is Back and it remains to be seen how the movie performs on coming days. Well, the Box Office fate of Gabbar is Back will depend on how the movie performs in its second week. Made on a good budget of around 70 crores, Gabbar is back needs to perform exceptionally well on coming days in order to have a decent chance at Box Office. The movie needs to collect at least 90 crores to emerge as first superhit of 2015.
