Starring Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Rishi Kapoor and Fawad Khan, ‘Kapoor and Sons’ had a superb second weekend at the domestic Box Office. After an excellent opening week with the collection of 46.93 crores, the movie remained strong despite the release of two big movies, Batman Vs Superman and Rocky Handsome. ‘Kapoor and Sons’ earned 3.64 crores on second Sunday to take its total collection to 59.02 crores.

With the total collection of 59.02 crores, Kapoor And Sons is now the third highest grosser of 2016. The movie has beaten the lifetime collection of Wazir, Jai Gangaajal and Ghayal Once Again. It is behind Akshay Kumar’s Airlift (128.06 crores) and Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja (75 crores).
‘Kapoor and Sons’ has recovered its budget of 38 crores and is already in the safe zone by a comfortable margin. Considering the current pace, we expect the movie to remain strong on coming days and end its Box Office journey with the lifetime collection of 75+ crores. It is all set to become the third super hit of the year after Airlift and Neerja.
