The first Friday of March didn’t proved good for Bollywood as all the new releases (THE ATTACKS OF 26/11, I,ME AUR MAIN and BLOODY ISHQ) have performed poorly at Box Office.
The first weekend collections of I,ME AUR MAIN and THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 are Rs. 5.4 and Rs. 5.5 Crores respectively. This has helped KAI PO CHE as it is still going strong in it’s second week.
According to reports, “Kai Po Che!” has collected a around 40.60 crore in its first 9 days and continues to do superb business. It is going super strong especially in Multiplexes and urban centers.
Despite getting good reviews, “The Attacks Of 26/11“, which is based on 2008 Mumbai terror attack, only manages to collect 5.5 Crores in its first weekend.
Collections of “I , Me Aur Main” wasn’t any better as the movie was slammed by audience as well as critics. It has collected around 5.4 Crores in its first weekend which is fairly low considering it’s a love story for youth.
All eyes are now on “Saheb, Biwi aur Gangsters Returns” which is releasing next week and some fireworks are expected from Tigmanshu Dhulia and company.
