Bollywood’s fundraising campaign for Nepal Earthquake Victims

When Nepal is facing havoc consequences of the shocking earthquake, Bollywood celebs are coming forward to support the victims of this natural disaster. B-town people like Dia Mirza and Vir Das appealed to masses that they should help Nepal in every possible way they can.

Senior actor Anil Kapoor also emphasizes towards supporting the small Himalayan neighbor. Some stars of the tinsel town have started an online fundraising campaign – KETTO. Actor Kunal Kapoor is the founder of this social campaign dedicated to helping the quake victims of Nepal with the tag “Join Hands for Nepal” on social sites.

Celebrities like Dia Mirza, Anupam Kher, Aditi Rao Hydari, Nargis Fakhri, Abhishek Bachchan, Gaurav Kapur, Lisa Ray are supporting the Ketto campaign. The campaign aims to raise Rs. 100,000 and it will help 20 survival kits worth Rs.5,000 with essentials like tarpaulin, mats and hygiene kit. Fund raised by it will go to the Care India which will expedite the rehabilitation process of Nepal.

A few hours back, Dia Mirza tweeted, “You can help me raise funds for #NepalQuakeRelief. Each survival kit costs INR5000/- #CareIndia @ketto http://ketto.org/JoinHandsForNepal … Thank you”. Other actors like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor have also joined the campaign. Hope this campaign will prove like a catalyst for Nepal and bring normalcy to the region soon.
