Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starer romantic comedy Shaandaar is off to a good start at the Box Office. As expected, the movie registered a big opening especially in multiplexes driven centers and metros. Released on around 2800 screens across the country Shaandaar registered an average occupancy of around 60% across the country in morning shows. It’s a Dussehra holiday in most parts of the country and this has certainly provided a big boost Shaandaar opening. The movie is expected to have the third highest opening day of 2015 after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Singh Is Bling. If the content turns out to be good, the movie is set to enjoy a good extended weekend at the Box Office.

Talking about the last week release Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, the movie is holding on well at the Box Office even in the weekdays. Targeted audience has really liked the movie and their love seems to be converted into big Box Office numbers. After a superb opening weekend with the collection of 22.75 crores, PKP 2 is heading towards a superb opening week. The movie remains strong on weekdays and collected 4.35 crs, 3.7 crs and 4.1 crs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, The movie now stands at the total collection of 34.9 crores. The movie will be affected by today’s release Shaandaar as there is a big drop in the screen count.
