Born in Bombay, Rishi Kapoor was the second son of star film director Raj Kapoor (Showman of Indian Cinema). Rishi did his schooling from Campion School, Mumbai and Mayo College, Ajmer.

Rishi Kapoor debuted in his father’s film Mera Naam Joker in 1970, playing a child. He got his first lead role opposite Dimple Kapadia in 1973 film Bobby, which was the biggest success of the era and earned Best Actor Filmfare Award and rest what happened is history.  His works include ‘Khel Khel Mein’, Rafoo Chakkar, Kabhie Kabhie, Amar Akbar  Anthony, Duniya Meri Jeb Mein, Laila Majnu, Karz, Prem Rog, Nagina, Henna, Bol Radha Bol, Chandni, Deewana etc.

He is in a list of very few stars who are still shining with the sand and sun. The couple have two children; famous actor Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor. He was awarded with Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.

Rishi is still riding high on success. He has delivered some power-packed performances in his second second inning which includes film like Do Duni Chaar, Agneepath Mulk, D Day etc.

Rishi Kapoor in his 40 Years has been the most flexible and dynamic actor, twisting his bones and revamping himself even till today.
