After two unique posters the theatrical trailer of Alone is out. The movie stars Bollywood Bengali bombshell and popular TV actor Karan Singh Grover in lead roles. The movie marks the debut of Karan Grover while Bipasha seems to have making it a habit to star in horror movies only.
The trailer of the movie was launched yesterday and we must say that it looks impressive. Bipasha Basu impresses with her role of conjoined twins. Karan Singh Grover who is making headlines these days for his divorce with Jenifer Winget is seen flaunting his six-pack abs and making some hot and steamy love with Bipasha Basu in the trailer.
This movie seems to be an out-and-out copy of a Thai horror movie, also called Alone. The Thai movie, released in 2007, was a big hit worldwide.
Both movies talk about a pair of twin sisters who were conjoined by birth and had to be separated because of one’s death; the surviving sister gets haunted by the ghost of the dead one.
Alone is directed by Bhushan Patel who has earlier directed 1920 – The Evil Returns and Ragini MMS 2. It remains to be seen whether the makers have used some creativity of their own or it’s an old wine server in a new bottle. Well, the trailer certainly suggest that as most of the scenes seems to be copied from original Alone and The Conjuring.
Alone is set all for release on 16 Jan 2015.
