Vidya Balan is all set to deliver another flop. Vidya’s latest film, Begum Jaan is struggling at the box office and it seems that her poor run will continue at the box office. After an average opening day with the collection of 3.96 crores, Begun Jaan declined by around 10% on Saturday. The movie has to face strong competition from a Punjabi film Manje Bistre and Hollywood biggie Furious 8. Let’s have a detailed look at Begum Jaan second day collection report.
Begum Jaan Second Day Collection: Occupancy Report
Running on around 1100 screens, the movie reported around 15% occupancy in the morning shows on Saturday. It witnessed decent growth as the day progressed but the damage has already been done. Overall, the second-day occupancy of the movie was around 35%.
Begun Jaan has been severely hit by its clash with a Hollywood biggie Furious 8 and Gippy Grewal’s Punjabi movie Manje Bistre. Released on only 200 screens in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi City, Manje Bistre literally thrashed out Begum Jaan in NCR region.
Manje Bistre is having a dream run as it has earned 4.43 crores in just two days. Furious 8 is also performing exceptionally well and it has earned around 35 crores in three days.

Begum Jaan Second Day Collection And Way Ahead
As per official numbers shared by Taran Adarsh, Begum Jaan 2nd day collection is 3.5 crores. The total collection of the movie is 7.46 crores.
Talking about the budget, the production cost of the movie is around 12 crores. With 7 crores spent on advertising and promotion, the total budget of the movie is 19 crores. Begum Jaan needs to earn 30 crores to be called a hit. The box office fate of the movie seems sealed now as it has been rejected by audience and critics.
