Befikre Music Review and Soundtrack- As refreshing as the trailer and the story!

The music of Aditya Chopra’s much-awaited directional venture is out now. Composer duo Vishal-Shekhar have given a total number of six tracks for the movie and the lyrics for all the songs have been penned by Jaideep Sahni. Here is our Befikre Music Review-

1. Labon Ka Karobaar

Papon takes the front seat for this song that is all about kisses. The video of the song shows us a variety of kisses and the message is quite clear-  A kiss has no boundaries. Papon’s husky voice has done a great job in convincing us about this. This song gives a great start to the album, we will probably get to hear this song during the opening credits.

2. Nashe Si Chadh Gayi

The song is sung by Arijit Singh and the French vocals are given by Caralisa Monteiro. This song has everything going on from groovy music to quirky lyrics. I was quite surprised to hear Arijit’s voice in this type of song, but he does not disappoint. A very refreshing song about love!

3. Ude Dil Befikre

Vishal and Shekhar hit the jackpot when they thought about combining Benny Dayal‘s voice with Ranveer Singh’s acting! I mean it is just perfect! The catchy music and the strong beats make this song a good listen. Sophie Choudry has given the French vocals.

4. You And Me

Nikhil D’Souza and Rachel Varghese have come together for the ‘love’ song from Befikre. Just like the rest of the songs, this one is also an upbeat number. But there’s nothing too special about it.

5. Khulke Dulke

All album seems almost incomplete without a Punjabi dance number these days and that’s what Khulke Dulke is all about. With Gippy Grewal and Harshdeep Kaur as the lead singers and Vishal Dadlani, Kunal Ganjawala, Ankur Tewari giving the backing vocals, there is so much energy in this song. It will be a super-hit number this wedding season!

6. Je T’aime (I Love You)

My favorite song from the album is this song in the voices of Vishal Dadlani and Sunidhi Chauhan. Je T’aime means I Love You in French and the song gives very valid reasons why not to say those three words. The lyrics are very emotional, the music is very soothing and this song will simply touch you where it hurts the most.

Befikre Music Review: Our Final Verdict- Aditya Chopra is back with a very interesting story after a long time. The trailer of Befikre was quite intriguing and just like it, the music is intriguing too. It is quite different from what we usually get to hear and that is what will make you love it even more. My pick of the lot would be Nashe Si Chadh Gayi and Je T’aime.

Our Rating- 3.5 Stars
