Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bareilly Ki Barfi had a good opening weekend at the domestic box office.

After an average opening day with the collection of 2.42 crores, Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bareilly Ki Barfi witnessed superb growth on Saturday and Sunday. Despite being a small town film, Bareilly Ki Barfi has found appreciation in metros cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur and Kolkata. The reviews have been good and the general audience has loved the movie.

The movie had an average opening as it earned 2.42 crores on its first day. It witnessed good growth on Saturday as it earned 3.85 crores. On Sunday, it recorded further growth to end the first weekend on a positive note. As per early estimates, Bareilly Ki Barfi first weekend collection is around 5.2 crores. The total first weekend collection of the movie stands at 11.47. The movie is following the same trend as Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium which was a big hit at the box office.

It needs to earn 30 crores to be qualified as a hit at the domestic box office. Monday will be a crucial day in deciding the box office fate of the movie.
