Bang Bang beats Ek Tha Tiger to become the sixth highest grosser of Bollywood Worldwide.
Bang Bang continues to remain steady at Box Office. Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starer action thriller collected 2.3 crores on 3rd Saturday. The movie now stands at total domestic Box Office collection of 173 crores. Bang Bang is the second highest grosser of 2014, only behind Salman Khan’s Kick whose lifetime Box Office collection is 233.7 crores.
The Box Office collection of the movie has been good despite receiving mixed WOM from public and critics. There were no big releases for the last three weeks and hence the screen count of the movie hasn’t been affected too much. The Box Office collection has been boosted by five days extended weekend from Oct 2 to Oct 6. Around 65% of the total collections were made in that extended weekend only. Bang Bang collected around 100 crores in first five days of its release.
Bang Bang has now only four days to add more moolah to kitty as Happy New Year is releasing on 24 Oct and it will take over most of the screens. As per the early reports, Happy New Year is releasing on around 4800 screens in India. Happy New Year will be the biggest Bollywood release of all time.
In the meanwhile, Bang Bang has become the sixth highest grosser of Bollywood Worldwide. Bang Bang has beaten Ek Tha Tiger worldwide collection of 320 crores to achieve this feat. Bang Bang now stands at worldwide Box Office collection of 325 crores.
