Bajrangi Bhaijaan First Day Collection: Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan opened to packed houses across the country.
As expected, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan start off its Box Office journey with a bang. The movie opened to packed houses across the country. Once again, we are bang on target with our Box Office predictions, as the movie collected around 28 crores on its opening day at domestic Box Office. We expected Bajrangi Bhaijaan to collect around 28 crores on its opening day. Since, the WOM is positive, the movie is expected to cross 100 crores within its first weekend at Box Office.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the highest opening day grosser of Salman Khan after Ek Tha Tiger which collected 32.92 Crores on its opening day. Bajrangi Bhaijaan beats the opening day collection of Salman’s last year Eid release Kick which was also released one day prior to Eid.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is also the highest opening day grosser of 2015 beating ABCD 2. ABCD 2 collected 14.3 crores on its opening day.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan registered an average occupancy of 70% across the country. Occupancy in southern regions is low as Bahubali is still dominating there. Bajrangi Bhaijaan performed best in north India where occupancy was around 90% in most of the regions.
The movie is expected to have a big opening weekend as WOM is superb and EID festivities will be at their peak. Bajrangi Bhaijaan may cross 100 crores within first three days at Box Office.
