Baar Baar Dekho 3nd Day Collection: Official Numbers and Way Ahead
The reviews have been good but the real issue is the WOM of the audience. The WOM of the moviegoers has been poor to mix and it seems that the movie will crash at the Box Office after an average opening weekend. The movie has been rejected in mass circuits and the only hope remains is the audience in top tier metros cities. Baar Baar Dekho 3rd day collection is 6.7 crores. The opening weekend collection of the movie is just 21.6 crores. The opening weekend collection of the movie is less than other niche films of the year like ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and ‘Ki & Ka’ and Neerja. Ideally, the movie should have crossed 30 crores in three days.
The movie needs to hold well on weekdays in order to have any chance at the Box Office. It can take advantage of the holiday season but it seems unlikely as the WOM is negative and the movie has already been crashed in mass centres. Made on a budget of 50 crores including the promotion cost, Baar Baar Dekho need 60 crores to break even. Below is the Box Office analysis:
Lifetime collection < 50 crores (Flop)
Lifetime collection > 60 crores (Average)
Lifetime collection > 70 crores (Hit)
Lifetime collection > 90 crores (Super Hit)
Lifetime collection > 140 crores (Blockbuster)
Considering the current trend it looks difficult for the movie to even cross 40 crores mark. Another big flop for Katrina Kaif after Phantom and Fitoor.
