Baar Baar Dekho 1st Day Collection: Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif starrer Baar Baar Dekho had an average opening day, earned 6.81 crores.
Directed by Nitya Mehra and starring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, Baar Baar Dekho is off to an average opening at the domestic Box Office. Released on around 2200 screens, the movie opened to an average occupancy of around 25% in the morning shows and failed to show significant growth in the evening and nights shows. As per the official numbers shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Baar Baar Dekho 1st day Collection is 6.81 crores.

Baar Baar Dekho was expected to take a much better opening since it created huge buzz before the releases owing to the hit music and chemistry of the lead pair, Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif. (Read: Baar Baar Dekho budget and screen count)
Baar Baar Dekho first day collection is the 15th highest of 2016. The movie has beaten the opening day collection of movies like Azhar and Wazir but it failed to beat the opening day collection of other multiplex movies like ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and ‘Ki & Ka’.
The big relief for the makers is that the movie has received good reviews from critics, However, the WOM from the moviegoers hasn’t been good and it looks difficult for the movie to show substantial in coming days. Ideally, Baar Baar Dekho should have opened to double digit numbers but that didn’t happen.
Baar Baar Dekho is an important movie for both Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra as their last few releases bombed at the Box Office. Katrina’s last two release, Phantom and Fitoor were big flops while Sidharth’s Brothers released in 2015 was also a flop.
