Here are some pictures from the first look launch of Aankhen 2-
Arshad Warsi was asked about this coincidence of him replacing Akshay in Aankhen 2 while Akshay replacing him in Jolly LLB 2. Being the funny man that he is, he said “Bahut Purani planning hai. Humne bachpan main socha tha kya karenge.”
In this part, the three blind leads, to be played by Arshad Warsi, Arjun Rampal and Anil Kapoor, will plan on robbing a casino. Anees Bazmee also commented on the reports of Aankhen 2 being inspired from Ocean’s Eleven. He said “Aankhen 2 is not inspired by Ocean’s Eleven. Ocean’s Eleven was a different picture. Except the casino background, I don’t think there is going to be any other similarity. We will start shooting next month. We are planning a Diwali release next year. It’s a big film so it has to come on a special day.”
South Indian actress Regina Cassandra will be making her Bollywood debut with this movie. While Ileana D’Cruz’s name has also been announced by the makers, it turns out that she has in fact refused the role offered to her. The actress is now planning on taking the legal route against the filmmakers.
There is still two surprises left for us as Bazmee informed us- “There will be two more actors for Aankhen 2, one who will play the role of a blind man, named Rahul. The actor who will play this part is a well known actor from the younger generation. There would be another well known actor who would be part of the film as well.”
Aankhen 2 is going to be one big movie!
