Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor will be seen together in a movie to be directed by Welcome Back director Anees Bazmee.
According to a report by a leading daily, Arjun Kapoor has replaced Abhishek Bachchan in Mubarkan. The movie which was initially supposed to be directed by Mastizaade director Milap Zaveri will now be wheeled by Anees Bazmee.
A leading daily report, “Mubarkan will be produced by the ‘The Shaukeens’ fame producer Murad Khetani. Abhishek Bachchan was supposed to star in the movie but due to the reasons best known to the makers and Abhishek, Junior Bachchan has now been replaced by Arjun Kapoor. Apart from the actor, the director of Mubarakan has also been replaced. Initially, Milap Zaveri was supposed to direct the film. But things didn’t turn out as planned and later Anees Bazmee has been finalized to don the director’s hat.”
The source added,”Apart from Arjun Kapoor the film also stars Arjun’s real life uncle Anil Kapoor. This will be the first time where the Chacha- Bhatija Jodi (Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor) is coming together for a movie. It would be interesting sight to see that what magic the Kapoor Khandan will create in Mubarakan.”
