Anushka Sharma’s third production venture ‘Pari’ is releasing today. Here is what we can expect from this film at the box office.
Anushka Sharma is all set for the release of her third production, Pari, which will hit the theatres this week on 2nd March. Pari also stars Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajat Kapoor and Ritabhara Chakraborty.
The film is a horror story and is tauted as the most horrifying one in the recent times. When the horror genre is going through a dull period in the present times, Anushka decided to experiment with the genre for her third production assisted by her brother. The trailers have definitely created lots of curiosity as the actress looks all scary with pale look and bruises. To go with it, the title of the movie- “Pari” is rather contrasting to attract eye balls.
So now it remains to be seen how Pari will be received by the audience and Anushka’s fans. Trade analysts predict that Pari is expected to make a total day one collection of 5-6 crores. It is expecting to get a better response than her earlier two production NH 10 and Phillauri. Phillauri and NH10 made a total day one collection of an average 3-4 crores. Also, keeping in mind Holi season which offers a long weekend, there are high expectations from the film. The collections of the film are expected to be higher than other occasions thanks to the festive fervour.
Pari will be Anushka’s first film after her marriage with Virat Kohli. The young couple were the talk of the town after their much-celebrated wedding in Italy and later reception in India.
A decent opening is expected from the film. One thing is for sure that the film will add more versatility in Anushka’s acting career and will take it up a notch. The actress, who has been open to experiments with her roles, looks very much promising with this horror flick.
Pari Box Office Prediction: Opening & Lifetime
While the opening of 4 to 5 crores is certainly on cars, the box office fate of the movie will depend on whether the audience accepts it or not. In our opinion, Pari could be one of the dark horses of this year at the domestic box office.
