Diva Anushka Sharma who loves to experiment with her looks, has now donned short hair for her role in Rajkumar Hiraani’s PK. The first look of Anushka in the film has finally been released and has managed to impress the audience. While, Aamir’s nude poster of the film covering just his modesty with a transistor raised quite a few eyebrows for which Aamir even had to explain that the “once the audience watches PK, they will come to know why I had to pose nude.”
Anushka looks pretty and chic in her short hair look. Reportedly, Anushka was asked to cut her long tresses which the actress flatly refused as she is simultaneously shooting for Bombay Velvet with Ranbir Kapoor and also NH10- which is her first home production. Therefore, the actress finally decided to don a wig for the look.
A source confirms the news, “Rajkumar Hirani was keen to have Anushka don this look. He tried quite a few looks before finalizing this one. Rajkumar thinks that this hairdo adds a new dimension to her personality and character. That said, Anushka couldn’t cut her hair for the film, since she also has to shoot for Ranbir Kapoor starrer, ‘Bombay Velvet’, and her home production ‘NH10’. The team members were initially skeptical about the wig but she looks great and everyone approved of her look.”
With many of Aamir’s different looks revealed in the movie poster and now Anushka’s new look from the film, the fans are waiting eagerly for PK. Also, Aamir will be seen after a year on the silver screen, which is yet another reason.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, PK is an upcoming movie starring Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ram Sethi and Sanjay Dutt (cameo). Produced by Vidhoo Vinod Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur, PK will release on December 18th, 2014.
