Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to clear the air on Sultan’s second teaser being inspired

Sultan’s second teaser has been released and it introduced us to Anushka Sharma’s character Aarfa.

After a power-packed first teaser of Haryana ka Sher Sultan, it’s now time to get a glimpse of Sultan ki Jaan Aarfa. Sultan’s second teaser introduces us to Anushka Sharma’s character Aarfa, who plays the role of a wrestler. The teaser shows Aarfa kicking some serious ass.

But many people have been claiming that her character seems to be inspired from Geeta Phogat, the first Indian woman to win a gold medal in Wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. Interestingly, Geeta Phogat is the daughter of Mahavir Singh Phogat, whose story will be told in Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie Dangal.

See the similarity? Many others did too, forcing the director of Sultan Ali Abbas Zafar to clarify things out. This is what he has to say-
