Akshay Kumar’s First Look In Gold: The Actress Shared His First Look From The Movie In Which He Is Playing A Hockey Player.

Akshay Kumar is the busiest actor in the industry today. There is no stopping him. He is the only Bollywood actor who has been consistently delivering 2 to 3 movies a year. Not many days ago he was shooting for his film Padman, and now the actor has started working on is next titled ‘Gold’ in between the promotions of his upcoming movie, Toilet Ek Prem Katha.

Akshay Kumar and company has started shooting for their next titled ‘Gold’. The actor took to Twitter to share his look from the film. “Set out on a brand new journey, aiming for nothing less than #GOLD! Day 1 of Gold, need your love and best wishes as always :),” wrote Akshay Kumar on his social media profiles. Akshay’s first look has a vintage and grey look as the movie is set around 1948. It reminds us of his Naval officer look in Rustom, for which he won the best actor National award.

Gold is a period drama sports film set around post-Independence era. The film is a fictional account of India’s first Olympic gold win as a free country in 1948 London Olympics. The movie also stars Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Sunny Kaushal. Popular TV actress Mouni Roy is making her Bollywood debut with the film. As per the reports coming, she will be paired opposite Akshay Kumar in the film.

The first International schedule of the film has started in Bradford, UK where a major match of the film will be shot. Before the start of the shoot, the actors were given training with different coaches, particularly with former Indian captain, Sandeep Singh to improve their hockey skills.

Well, Gold looks like another promising movie by Akshay Kumar after a series of patriotic and socially driven movies. Directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Excel Entertainment, the movie is slated for 15 Aug 2018 release.
