As per the latest trade reports, Akshay Kumar’s Crack will not clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s The Ring. The reports suggest that the movie has been postponed to 2018.
The reports suggest that the script of Crack will take some time to complete as Neeraj Pandey is currently busy with the production activities of Naam Shabana and Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, both of which are scheduled to hit the theatres in the first half of 2016.
Earlier, Akshay was expected to start shooting for Crack after completing TEPK. Since the script of Crack is nor ready yet, we hear that Akshay will start shooting for R. Balki’s next in Jan/Feb 2017.
With Crack being pushed to 2018, Akshay Kumar has 3 releases in 2017 – Jolly LLB 2 on 10 February 2017, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha in June, Robot 2.0 on Diwali 2017. R. Balki’s film may release in Dec 2017 but that will depend on its completion.
Talking about Akshay Kumar movies in 2018, Gold is scheduled to hit the theatres in the Independence Day Weekend 2018. Neeraj and Akshay should be eyeing March/April 2017. We are awaiting an official announcement regarding the release dates of R. Balki’s next and Crack.
